Star Trek Online Announces More Starship Models
If you're into collecting model starships, and have some extra scratch to throw around, the folks at Star Trek Online and Hero Collector will have a new entry for your collection soon. Today, the STO team announced plans for two new starships to be added to the Hero Collector storefront next year. These include the Gagarin-Class Federation Battlecruiser and the Chimera-Class Federation Heavy Destroyer.
Both models are die-cast in high-quality ABS material, with each being hand painted by the company's artists. Based on the prices of other Star Trek starships on the site, those wanting to pick up models are probably looking at spending about $75. The new ships aren't listed on the site yet since they're not to be made available until 2020.
