Star Trek Online In Chicago

If you’re a Star Trek Online fan planning on attending Star Trek Mission Chicago this month, you may want to add a few things to your itinerary. The Star Trek Online team announced today that they will be attending, even offering several panels over the three days the convention will be taking place. Panel titles include a look at the game’s next story update – something all STO fans will be interested in. Others consist of a discussion on expanding the Trekkie experience with table top games, the art of ship design, and a discussion on women’s representation in Star Trek media.

In addition to the panels, the STO team will be maintaining a presence in the Wolf 359 gaming area, where they will be offering demos, hosting giveaways, and more. There will even be an opportunity to meet the developers on Saturday at the Strike Group Armada Booth 2124.

On the first day of the show, players will be able to enter a giveaway to win a Borg Cube PC from Cherry Tree. It’s beautiful. It’s the thing in the image above. And, if you wanna know the specs, here they are.

  • 12th Gen Intel i7-12700K
  • Asus Prime Z690-P Mainboard
  • 32GB DDR5 RAM
  • 1TB NVMe System Drive
  • GeForce RTX 3070 Graphics Card
  • A-RGB Forcefields and Fans
  • Integrated 7” monitor behind large forcefield
  • One-of-a-kind engraving and detail painting
  • Fiber optic light effects
  • Laser Engraved Crate

The giveaway will also include every Star Trek Online expansion.

Star Trek Mission Chicago will take place at McCormick Place in Chicago the weekend of April 8 – April 10.
