Studio Behind Dave The Diver Announces New Game (That's Nothing Like The Cozy Adventure RPG)
In Dave's next adventure, he fends off zombies.
A sequel to Dave the Diver has been announced! (Sorta, not really.)
Mintrocket, the studio known for the aforementioned game, has unveiled their upcoming project: Nakwon: Last Paradise. This is a departure from their previous titles, offering a 16-player PvPvE zombie stealth extraction survival experience set in Seoul, South Korea. Unlike Dave the Diver's relaxing fishing and sushi adventures, the action game plunges players into a dark and eerie quarantine zone, where they must gather gear and avoid disturbing slumbering zombies in order to escape with their loot.
And firearms play a minimal role in the game, as Nakwon: Last Paradise emphasizes evasion over combat, with players armed primarily with wooden boards and bricks. Additionally, the game features permadeath, where players lose everything upon dying.
While no official release date has been announced, it is speculated that Nakwon: Last Paradise won't be available until at least 2024, as the game has been in development for approximately a year. However, fans can anticipate a pre-alpha version to be released later in 2023.
