The First Descendant Crossplay Open Beta Nears, Full Details Including Pre-Download Times

Third-person looter shooter The First Descendant is heading into a crossplay open beta from Tuesday, September 19 through Monday, September 25. Players can choose between PC on Steam, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, PS4, or PS5 to play. This will be an open beta meaning anyone can choose a platform and play.
A pre-download of The First Descendant will be available starting Monday, September 18, the day before the test begins. Nexon reminds you to make sure you have the latest graphics driver installed as this is an Unreal Engine 5 game.
In this test, players will have access to 11 base characters and 2 Ultimate characters. 50+ weapons, 300+ modules, and lots of other improvements will also be in the crossplay open beta of The First Descendant.
Players will be able to link their platform accounts with Nexon to play across multiple platforms. All game data from this test will be reset after the beta period has ended.
