The Top Manufacturers Show Off In Star Citizen's IAE, And Over 150 Vehicles Fly For Free Starting Today
Take you favorite for a spin today.
Conventions and expo events can be a ton of fun. There's many I go to each year. I've never attended a digital one, though, so I bet things are a bit different. That said, the idea is the same. Groups join up to show things off to preople who love those things, so why not a digital expo?
Star Citizen and Squadron 42 kick off the IAE (Intergalactic Aerospace Expo) today and all the top manufactures in the universe want you to stop by and see what they've been busy building in the games. You can take part in a "Free Fly" event that features over 150 ships if you'd like to try something new, hop into the cockpit for the first time ever, or just reacquaint yourself with an old favorite.
Things are underway today and will run until December 5th.
The IAE Academy is also getting in on the shindig with some new training missions aimed to teach you the basics of survival in space and in your ship.
If you've already flown everything, make sure to head over to see the RSI Polaris. While this corvette-class ship has been seen in fly-bys before, it has made the leap to production and you can take it (and three other new ships) for a spin.
Here's the full expo event schedule.
