Grab the beers and head out to sea (well, not the literal sea, but you'll see). The big game fishing simulator you've been waiting for is headed for open beta.

For those among us who really want to catch some big fish, but can't afford to actually travel to one of the 30 locations available in the game (or who are just afraid of water), World of Fishing has it all. Boasting a community of digital fishers the likes of which have never before been seen on the internet, character development, a variety of gear and boats, and over 360 different fish to catch; Insel Games' free-to-play fishing MMO has everything but the "Gone Fishin'" sign. You'll have to supply that yourself.

To celebrate the start of open beta, the developers are offering a 10€ voucher code to players who took part in the closed beta test to be used in the Pearl Shop.

More information on World of Fishing can be found on the game's site.
