Elsword, the free to play game from KOG Games, is turning 4 years old and the development team has a ton in store for players both in-game and out in that sunny, bright place we call the real world.
Lucky players of the title were invited to join the dev team in Orange County at Howie's Game Shack for some discussion, food, gameplay, and then they'll be whisked away for a "Players vs. KOG" game of laser tag. Didn't get an invite? Yeah, I didn't either, but there are plenty of in-game events (and prizes) that you and I can take a shot at winning.
First up in the list of additions is a much needed Party Kick System. Now groups will have the ability to vote on removing someone from the group that isn't pulling their weight. Rebalancing of characters has also undergone another pass to add more balance across combatants. Are you better at Elsword than I am? (Probably,) but if you're REALLY good at either the PvE or PvP content in Elsword, try to make the top 100 lists and get yourself a snazzy title and badge.
Not enough for you? How about a rework to the dungeon systems that changes the UI, balances dungeons and turns them into shorter, more fun experiences. The Ereda Island PvP map has also received some new objectives and a giant face lift.
Players who login with a level 10+ character will receive a FREE, permanent pet, costume set and a timed Dragon Mount! If you're new to Elsword or you're taking a break ... You're invited too! New players who register during the event period and players who haven't logged in since April 1st, 2015 will receive a free +10 Enhanced Weapon! During the event period, Elsword players will receive 2x's EXP, 2x's Drop rates and unlimited stamina! In addition, just logging into game and playing gets you prizes. Players will receive a daily buff, prize exchange tickets, and for those who slay big, nasty elite monsters, keep your eyes peeled for some crazy anniversary-themed loot boxes!
To check out how you can participate, and enter to win some real life swag, pay the Elsword official site a visit.
