Trove PC Was Taken Offline Last Week, Possibly For The Same Reason As In August
The PC version of Trove was shut down for several hours Friday, as gamigo dealt took down the servers to deal with a critical issue. That resulted in several updates throughout the day as to the status of the game, which finally came back online after about four hours. Players who logged into the game before Saturday evening were granted a compensation package of 30 Dragon Coins and a Golden Chaos Chest.
What was the problem? gamigo hasn't provided any official explanation, but many players have speculated that it was another item duplication bug, similar to the one that hit the game back in August. If that's the case, it looks like gamigo inherited more than just a catalog of games from Trion Worlds.
