Waframe’s “Unannounced Fall Update”, The Vallis Undermind Launched Today
And there’s a mushroom-themed Warframe to go with it.
Digital Extremes has been teasing this Warframe update for a while and now it’s finally here. Previously called the “Unannounced Fall Update”, The Vallis Undermind takes players into the depths of Fortuna below the surface of the Orb Vallis, near the Deepmines. This is where the players of the free-to-play shooter will find Nokko and Nightcap. Nokko is the game’s latest Warframe. Resembling a humanoid mushroom, Nokko uses fungus-based abilities. Nightcap, on the other hand offers players new bounties and a way to earn the Blueprints and components needed to craft Nokko.
The update introduced a new short quest called The Teacher Quest, designed to help newer players get a handle on modding in the game. Those who are already familiar with the system are encouraged to complete the quest anyway, as there’s a new Thornbak Rifle to be had for doing so.
Players can also check out other features in this update, specifically the Oberon Rework featuring improved ablities and a couple of cool new skins.
