Warframe's Celebrating Nine Years With Free Weekly Rewards And Special Merch
Garuda Prime slices and dices her way into Prime Access.
Warframe is turning nine years old, and to celebrate, Digital Extremes is handing out gifts galore. You can log in right now to obtain the Wisp Dex Skin, and another free gift package is due to arrive every week for the next five weeks. The packages include mixes of weapon slots, Dex weapons, skins, armor, and weekend boosters for Credits and Affinity.
The new Warframe Initiate Pack II - Nova Atomica also arrives today, granting access to the Nova Warframe, mods, skins, and other items for $14.99. If it's real-life loot you crave, the official Warframe store has new ninth anniversary gear, as well, including T-shirts, pins, and exclusive items that can only be purchased if you've obtained a particular Mastery Rank (MR) in the game.
The boosted Garuda Prime makes her debut in Warframe's Prime Access today, and she's even more bloodthirsty than her earlier incarnation. Her signature gear includes Nagantaka Prime, a golden version of her crossbow which can let loose a barrage of bolts that can inflict bleeding with its alt-fire. There's also the Corvas Prime, an "arch-gun flak-cannon," which sounds like it would be very unpleasant to be on the wrong end of.
Garuda Prime Access includes the Kukri Prime Armor, Sanguinax Prime Ephemera, 90-day Resource and Affinity Boosters, and Garuda Prime Glyphs. For more on this 'frame and the rest of the ninth anniversary news, check out the Warframe site.
