Warframe Nintendo Switch 2

Today’s a good day for Warframe players – doubly so if they also happen to own a Nintendo Switch 2. This morning, Digital Extremes announced the launch of the free-to-play shooter’s latest update, “The Shadowgrapher”, and the launch of the game on Nintendo’s newest console.

The game, which is already available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, mobile devices, and the original Nintendo, launches with full Cross Platform Play and Cross Platform Save. That means Nintendo Switch players who have been considering upgrading, but who have been waiting for the port, can go ahead and get their new systems.

To celebrate the launch of the new console version, Digital Extremes will be gifting the exclusive Ambimanus Pack to anyone who logs into the game on the Switch 2 between now and April 15. This pack includes a Warfan weapon as well as other cosmetics and resources.

The Shadowgrapher’s update, which will be available on all platforms, brings a good bit of new content for players. The new Warframe introduces abilities based on Rorschach inkblot inspirations. A new co-op game offers players the chance to play a bit of survival horror. And players can pick up the latest collectible cosmetics. That’s just to name a few. Full details can be found in the Shadowgrapher post on the Warframe site.
