Wargaming Announces Massive Charity Drive To Support Ukraine Across Six Games
100% of the proceeds go towards aid.
Today, Wargaming – known for its sizable library of war-themed games – announced a new initiative continuing its support of Ukraine. The company, which has already contributed well over a million to various causes including medical support, donations to victims of the Kakhovka disaster, and more, has strong ties to Ukraine. In fact, their studio in Kyiv continues to operate despite the war going on around them.
It should be no surprise that Wargaming wishes to continue with their support. With that in mind, the company announced an initiative that invites players of six of its games – World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, World of Tanks Modern Armor, World of Warships, World of Warships: Legends, and World of Warplanes. Each game will have its own Ukraine-themed bundles featuring customization elements designed by the team at the Wargaming Kyiv studio.
One hundred percent of proceeds from these bundles – available through November 1 – will be used to purchase C-type ambulances with defibrillators, cardiac monitors, oxygen tanks, and artificial lung ventilator devices. More details can be found on the initiative page.
