World Of Tanks Celebrates 15 Years With Special In-Game Events All Month Long
And if you're a veteran player, you get an exclusive badge.
World of Tanks is marking a major milestone this year, celebrating its 15th anniversary with a month-long lineup of in-game events beginning August 8.
Since its launch in 2010, the free-to-play shooter has garnered millions of players worldwide, blending historical accuracy with fast-paced, team-based tank combat gameplay on PC and consoles. To honor the occasion, Wargaming is rolling out daily rewards through the Anniversary Album. Players can log in each day to open special envelopes that highlight key moments from the game’s history while awarding cosmetic items, in-game currency, and other bonuses.
A limited-time Battle Pass chapter will also be available, offering valuable rewards upon completion, including the Brennos — a powerful Tier VIII French heavy tank — along with themed crew members and various resources to enhance gameplay.
Additionally, the “Overwhelming Fire” arcade mode returns for two weekends, featuring fast-paced skirmishes with experimental vehicles on compact maps. And, longtime veterans who created their accounts before April 14, 2012, will receive an exclusive “15th Anniversary” badge, and every match with at least one veteran grants all participants a 15% credit boost.
Last but not least, official anniversary Twitch livestreams will offer Drops containing premium tanks, rare skins, and other neat in-game items.
