Webzen Transferring Continent Of The Ninth Seal To VALOFE
Continuing our trend of talking about games you probably haven't thought of since 2012 (like Tuesday's news), we have word that Continent of the Ninth Seal will soon be under new management. Previous publisher Webzen is turning over the reins to VALOFE, as announced in an article on C9's Steam page.
Players will be able to start transitioning their characters on September 14, though that date is "subject to delay." Take note that your wcoin will not transfer over to VALOFE's VFUN service, so you'll want to spend it before the transition completes. As a reward for their trouble, players who migrate their characters will receive a batch of bonus loot.
If all this sounds familiar, it should. VALOFE took over Mu Legend from Webzen two years ago, and before that nabbed Riders of Icarus and Atlantica Online from Nexon. At this point, it might be fair to say VALOFE is the retirement home for older MMORPGs, where elves and dragons can get together to play shuffleboard and watch reruns of The Golden Girls.
