Wizard101’s European Servers Begin Transfer To KingsIsle
The transfer from Gameforge's service should speed things up for players.
Today, European players of Wizard101 begin a strange new journey. Okay, really, you’re just going to hang out while KingsIsle Entertainment and Gameforge navigate the whole "transferring a game service from one company to another" thing. That is after players visit the Europe Transition Details site and follow the instructions to move their accounts from Gameforge to KingsIsle. The process involves connecting the two accounts, registering, and redownloading the launcher from the new site.
The good news is that completing the transfer not only allows players to keep playing the game while enjoying updates at the same time as their NA counterparts, but also gets them some goodies. Said goodies include a free 2-week membership to the European servers. Players will also get a new Wings of Kings Mount and a Dragon of Kings Pet.
Even players who don’t currently have a Gameforge account but might be interested in starting to play Wizard101 can get a free goodie – the Dragon of Kings Pet. Details about how to do the transfer and get all your rewards can be found on the Wizard101 site.
