World Of Tanks To Co-Sponsor Restoration Of FV4005 Tank
The restored tank will be revealed at Tankfest 2024.
Today, World of Tanks developer Wargaming announced that the company is co-sponsoring the restoration of an FV4005 tank for display at The Tank Museum. The company is providing £20,000 to cover the fabrication of missing parts and fittings.
The FV4005, which is known for having the largest gun fitted to a tank, is a popular vehicle in the war strategy game, prompting players to request its restoration. It’s an important part of the United Kingdom’s military history.
For those hoping to see the tank in person, it will be revealed at Tankfest 2024. The event will take place from June 28 to June 30 at the Tank Museum in Bovington.
