World Of Warcraft Is Going In Big For Its 20th Anniversary Celebration
A new special currency, mid-season raid, and more are part of the celebratory activities.

World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary is on the horizon, and Blizzard is ready to celebrate. Today, the developer of the MMORPG shared a teaser video and update notes for the celebration slated to kick off on October 22 and continue until January 6. Among the celebratory activities are a new mid-season raid, some classic timewalking, PvP activities, and more.
The update notes also have big news for the Dracthyr. As part of the celebration update, players will be able to create new Dracthyr characters as Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Mage Warrior, or Warlock classes. These classes will all start at level 10 in the Forbidden Reach. More details on this as well as other changes can be found in the update notes.
