Rise of Incarnates is a 2 vs. 2 Arena Fighter developed by Namco Bandai. The fighter retains many of the same battle mechanics found in the Japanese-only Gundam vs. series. Players may choose from several superhuman fighters each with their own unique attack combos and special abilities. Using teamwork, partners can execute special tag team combos while countering enemy attacks.

  1. wish you guys would have waited to review this its a rlly fun game bu the bugs that are poping up atm make it pretty much unplayable whoever said its repetitive your wrong as well since there will be many more toons released there will be many diff combat styles to play around with till you find the toon that’s best for you. atm tho it be about a 5/10 cause the bugs are ruining it hard core

    • For the direction they’re taking, repetitiveness doesn’t correct itself by just adding additional characters to play but, the modes itself.

The reason why a typical fighter won’t do is because the way its built. A typical fighter would be, an arena to fight in, win or lose, and thats it. Now if they added customizable skill trees, objects you can smash into and take damage, and other misc. stuff that can keep up with what fighter gamers would want, then it has a chance. Namco being an experience company when it comes to fighting games, should already know what’s good and bad.

It doesn’t look good for for the game, so they better pull out some ideas form a donkeys butt soon or bye bye. I played with a controller but its its true that you can’t use a mouse, then there goes the player base…

      • Also similar to Archblade problem, they couldn’t get it right. Being that its Namco, if this product also fails, they should just fire the staff. LOL

  2. Lel wtf is this shit? i tried out, because it was look cool. But you cant turn fullscreen or use mouse. The combat is dreadful and not that smooth. I thought it will be a beat em up with hack and slash controls. but its a basic unpollised mess.

  3. If they don’t up their game on this product, it will be scrapped by early next year. Namco better do it right. Big name, little to offer = not a good product.

  4. This game works. It has decent mechanics. It has pretty good graphics; however, there’s something that separates this game with the successful Gundam and other fighter counterparts released in Japan: the variety. Introduced with only four classes, Rise of Incarnates suffers, especially as a 2 v. 2 Arena-Based Fighter.

    • By the time of release there should be at least 6 total, whether or not there’s going to be more introduced as beta goes on, there’s 6 known characters already.

      • If you saw them presenting it at e3 then you’ll know that you’ll have to pay for some characters. I don’t understand why they don’t just forget about free to play and just make a complete game with a full roster of characters and sell it for a regular price

        • They did the same thing with Tekken Revolution and Soul Calibur lost Swords. But you were able to earn all the characters by just playing. But they’re set up completely different than this game is. Will have to see how it goes at release.
