1047 Games Announces Splitgate 2 Open Beta
The devs are currently making improvements based on feedback from the more than 500K games played during Alpha.

Following a four-day open alpha period, during which players took part in more than 500k games, and player volume increased by over 200%, developer 1047 games has announced that players can expect the Splitgate 2 open beta test to kick off in May. The announcement doesn’t include a precise day. That’s probably due to the fact that the devs are currently hard at work making adjustments based on alpha feedback.
Speaking of open alpha, 1047 did share some stats from the test period. According to the infographic, during the 500K+ games played in the portal shooter, there were a total of 59 million kills and 1 million BFB bonks. The alpha was also heavily streamed, with players earning 62K Twitch Drops, and apparently more than 90% of the players said they’d recommend the game to someone else.
Oh. There’s one other stat as well. Apparently, during all of those games played, 1 single rooster was discovered. Did anyone tell players they were supposed to be on the lookout for roosters?
