Aion 8.4

Longtime MMORPG Aion kicks off update 8.4 today with two new Empyrean Lords - Yustiel and Lumiel - with relics, the annual "Pumpkin King" Halloween event, re-introduces the "Jumping Daeva!" event, and more.

Players can equip and level up the new Empyrean Lords Yustiel and Lumiel once they gain them in the Border Bridge battleground. Both have unique relics that can be activated and leveled for rewards, including but not limited to Apsu's Illusion Armor Box and Oath Tablet.

Aion also welcomes the annual "Pumpkin King" event, where players can travel across Atreia and gather candy and even fight the Pumpkin King himself. From now until November 9, fans can use their Candy Blasts - given upon logging into Aion or at candy stations - to defeat Pumpkin King appearing inside instances, such as Infernal Drakenspire Depths and Herelym Mine. For the trouble, players can collect event bundles that drop a wide range of randomized rewards.

In addition, players can activate a 1-hour buff for +400% XP and +100% Drop Rate by interacting with coffins spawning across the world during the event. On the flip side, the returning "Jumping Daeva!" event will occur within the same timeframe as the Halloween festivities, allowing players to boost a new character to level 80 instantly. There will only be one character jump per account that players can make from the character creation screen. Depending on the faction chosen, whether Inggison or Gelkmaros, players gain randomized items, skills, and stigmas for free.

You can learn more about the entire patch and Halloween event on the Aion website!
