Aion Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary With Cakes, Robots, And More
Aion is turning ten and NCSoft has set up a few celebratory activities for players. Among the events are the Anniversary Flea Market where players can get a 3-tier Daeva's Day Cake. Players are welcome to grab a slice and those who do will be granted a 6-hour buff of 200% XP and a 50% higher drop rate.
There are also robots built with the sole purpose of making sure everyone has fun. They hand out free prizes with a different robot appearing to hand out something new each week.
Of course, it wouldn't be an MMO anniversary without some sort of currency to collect and exchange for goodies. So, there are Anniversary coins. There's even a dungeon challenge where players can receive special reward boxes for killing specific bosses. A full list of dungeons, rewards, and other important anniversary information is available on the Aion site.
