Albion Online Announces Released Date For “Wild Blood” Update
New weapons, new open-world features, and more.
Albion Online players have several things to look forward to in the MMORPG’s next update. “Wild Blood” is scheduled to drop on October 16, bringing new weapons, features, and more to the game. Although, the weapons might actually be considered a feature, as the Shapeshifter Weapons actually allow players to shift between human and non-human forms.
Another feature, Tracking, allows players to search for the tracks of various creatures and follow them until they catch up to and fight them. Taking down these trackable creatures will earn players new rewards.
Another addition in this update is Awakened Items. These allow players to customize weapons and are used as high-level weapons gain attunement, allowing players to add new traits. An interesting feature of awakened weapons is that while they can be lost in combat, they have the potential to remain in the game’s world and appear as rare loot.
”Wild Blood” also offers players the opportunity to own multiple personal islands. A death recap screen has been added as well, allowing players to study their death and perhaps avoid that mistake again. More details on the update can be found on the Albion Online site.
