Blade & Soul's Snake-y New Raid Is Live With The Slithering Shadows Update
Blade & Soul's newest update has arrived, adding the new Twisted Serpent Stronghold raid, new events, and items. It also introduces a renewed version of Soulstone Plains and increases Radiance Stone Slots and the Hongmoon level cap.
The Twisted Serpent Stronghold raid is a 12-player raid for players of at least level 60 with a HM of 24 or more. It's available in both Easy and Hard mode, although Easy is only available via weekly and dynamic quests. There are several related quests in the raid, as well as ones specific to each of the individual modes. Each offers its own unique rewards.
To accompany the new raid, the update also introduces a few raid-specific events, including the Bonus event that will reward players with 10 Fusion Stones when players complete "The Taste of Poison" and "Where Dark Meets Light" dynamic quests. There are also 19 new achievements that can be obtained by participating in the Twisted Serpent Stronghold raid.
As mentioned above, the Hongmoon level cap has been increased. It is now level 40. Required XP has been lowered for Hongmoon Level 30 and below, and players can now earn 25 addtional Hongmoon Mastery Points.
While the raid and its related content are the highlights of this update, there's a good bit more listed in the patch notes. This includes basic changes, new gear, merchant stuff, and more. If you'd like to see everything that's changed, the patch notes can be found on the Blade & Soul site.
