Bless Unleashed Working On Additional Guild Functionality
You have to give the Bless Unleashed dev team at Round 8 Studio some credit. Rather than saying that everything about their game is amazing and perfect and you should be honored to play it, they're opening up about something in the current version of the game that isn't very good right now and that they're going to have to make some major changes to. Then again, maybe we shouldn't give them too much credit -- another highly anticipated MMORPG underwent a "rebuild" during its formative years, and that didn't turn out so well.
In a recent dev blog, Round 8 came to realize that they couldn't deliver more than "the most basic of guild functionality at launch." As a result, the team has several new initiatives in development, which it hopes to have implemented by July -- with the refreshingly honest caveat that they might be late or not even come at all.
Plans for improving guilds include a new experience system, which comes alongside guild progression. As your guild levels up, it will receive an increased member cap, storage, and perhaps even its own estate. Guild achievements are also in the works, as well as a system for guilds to compete against each other.
Whether that last element comes in the form of direct PvP or simple leader boards is still up in the air at this time. In the meantime, you can keep up to date with the changes to guilds, and give your input, on the Bless Unleashed subreddit.
