Boss Kill Event Announced For Path Of Exile, In Celebrate Of New Expansion
Players can compete within each Ascendancy Class to defeat the Uber Pinnacle Bosses in Ancestor Hardcore SSF mode.
Grinding Gear Games is celebrating the launch of the Trial of the Ancestors expansion for Path of Exile by hosting a Boss Kill Event.
In the ARPG's event, players can compete within each Ascendancy Class to defeat the Uber Pinnacle Bosses in Ancestor Hardcore SSF mode. Prizes will be awarded to players based on their achievements, including completing all seven Uber Pinnacle Boss Encounters. The Uber Pinnacle Bosses include the Uber Eater of Worlds, Uber Searing Exarch, Uber Maven, Uber Sirus, Uber Venarius, Uber Uber Elder, and Uber Shaper.
The overall first-place winner will receive a selection of ExileCon 2023 Merchandise, an original art piece from the Path of Exile comic, and a chance to design a Divination Card. Second and third place overall winners will also have the opportunity to design a Divination Card. And players who achieve first place in each Ascendancy Class will be rewarded with a Demonic Microtransaction Bundle.
As for console players, the competition is adjusted, taking place in the equivalent non-Hardcore SSF (Solo Self-Found) Ancestor league due to population differences. Console players will also have prizes, with the first player on each platform to defeat the specified bosses winning a Divination Card Design.
Certain rules apply to the event though, such as eligibility criteria, disqualifications for account sharing or breaches of the Terms of Use, and restrictions on Grinding Gear Games employees and players who have participated in the Alpha realm since August 4. Changing Ascendancy Class during the event or using multiple characters to defeat bosses will result in disqualification.
