Celebrate Lunar New Year In World of Tanks And World of Tanks Blitz

Wargaming is getting in on the Lunar New Year celebrations, with events running in World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz. The Lunar Challenge starts today in the PC version of the game and runs until the 22nd, where your primary goal will be to conquer the "Taming the Ox" series of in-game missions. That offers up 10 stages of challenges and rewards, and at the end of the road is the 122 TM, a Tier VIII Chinese medium tank that plays more like a heavy tank with its thick armor, poor maneuverability, and a powerful but slow-to-reload gun.

While you're working on those missions, you can also enjoy Valentine's Day weekend in World of Tanks, which offers even more missions, as well as discounts on "love"-themed items in the shop.

In World of Tanks Blitz, the Lunar Rising event is currently ongoing until the 19th and brings nine stages of challenges for players. Finish those to receive access to a 10th stage that you can complete 10 times for 50,000 credits and a Red Envelope each time. Five Red Envelopes will also be handed out for your first victory of the day, and one more for each victory thereafter. They contain a variety of collectible items that can be exchanged for 1,000 Free XP.
