Challengers Games Hosting PC Playtest For MOBA Shooter "Second Wave"
Signups are available via Steam.
Second Wave, an anime-style hero-based MOBA shooter from developer/publisher Challengers Games Corp., will be launching an alpha playtest for PC in just a few short days. The test will begin on June 2 at 8:00 PM Eastern and last until June 4 at 8:00 pm. Those interested in participating will need to sign up via the game’s Steam page.
The game offers players a selection of modes, including a 5v5v5 Three-Way battle. Players will also have a decent-sized roster of characters to choose from, as there are currently ten listed on the Steam page.
For those wondering about the business model, the developers have apparently decided to go with free-to-play, charging players for cosmetics and a battle pass that will unlock skins and voice lines for the game’s characters. They also promise “no pay to win”, because of course they do.
