Dauntless Update 1.8.3 Adds Mantis-like Behemoth Sahvyt And Refreshes Chain Blades

Slayers in Dauntless get to wield all sorts of blades, so it's only fair that a Behemoth should get to do the same, right? The Sahvyt was added to the game in yesterday's Update 1.8.3, and this manic mantis will have Slayers praying for mercy, with its dual-bladed action that also includes a ranged strike to catch unaware Slayers who would prefer to keep their distance.

Speaking of dual blades, 1.8.3 has also "refreshed" chain blades, giving each combo a distinctive role in battle and rebalancing specials and mods "to provide more effective and impactful build choices." A new combo, Lacerating Onslaught, also provides wound damage, previously only available by using the war pike.

1.8.3 naturally arrives alongside a new Hunt Pass, as well, Warlords of Krolach, which looks to offer savage-looking armor inspired by the Krolachi Warlords, who were "driven from their home by Ostia and its meddling with Behemoth creation," especially the new Sahvyt. The Coldrunner Key and Boreal Outpost islands have also been "refreshed" in order to "tell a more captivating story."
