DCUO Plans For The Rest Of 2023 Includes Episode 46: Justice League Dark Cursed And PS5/XBX Console Launch

We’re a bit more than halfway through 2023, so as you’d probably expect, game devs are detailing their plans for the rest of the year. Today Daybreak and Dimensional Ink outlined what players can expect through the rest of 2023 in the MMORPG DC Universe Online. The big headline is Episode 46: Justice League Dark Cursed.

The update is slated to arrive in October and that seems like a perfect choice for what appears to be a bit of a spooky update. Magic users are afflicted by a powerful curse that makes their powers excessively violent. John Constantine is locked away in the House of Mystery overlooking Gotham Cemetery and is under attack, while he tasks Batman with the hard work.

Justice League Dark Cursed will feature normal and elite versions of On Duty content. There will be open-world missions, a new solo, an alert, and a raid.

Prior to the update’s launch, players can take part in the Save the Universe event featuring up-leveled classic content. This event is already underway and will run into September, at which point the Witching Hour will kick off, and, of course, there will be a holiday event in December.

In other news, DCUO will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X soon. Players can look for it during the holiday season.
