Dungeons & Dragons Online is ready for a new expansion and the team at Standing Stone Games has just the thing. The company teased the game's 4th expansion, titled Masterminds of Sharn, with a new placeholder page and the shortest trailer in the world -- providing the bare minimum of information.
What we know is that the expansion will add the Tiefling race and that players will be sent to the city of Sharn in search of the Stormreach Beacon.
No official release date has been provided for the expansion, but pre-orders begin in March. Those who pre-order will gain instant access to the Tiefling race.
Once the expansion launches, players will benefit from a variety of upgrade bonuses including the new Scoundrel hero -- a master of the fiddle bard instrument, cosmetics, and a universal enhancement tree.
More information will be rolled out over time and players can keep up with it all on the DDO site.
