Defiance 2050 PC Closed Beta This Weekend, Console Beta Delayed
Back in March, Trion announced plans to run the Defiance 2050 closed beta on all platforms this weekend (April 20 - 22). Now, it appears that PC players will the only ones able to hop into the game this weekend.
The change in plans was announced today via the game's official Twitter account. Unfortunately, while the tweet confirmed the upcoming PC test, it noted that console players -- both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 -- will have to wait until a later, undisclosed date to test the new game.
The Defiance 2050 closed beta will run on PC this weekend (April 20 – 22). To best optimize the experience for all players, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are being moved to a later date. We'll communicate the updated console beta as soon as we can. See you this weekend!

Those wanting to participate in the beta test can still sign up for access via the game's site. You may want to hurry, though, as we can confirm that invites are already going out.
