Dog Days Returns To Warframe In August, With “Significant Changes”
The event features an improved shop, adjustments to the Soaktron, and more.

For a lot of people in the Northern Hemisphere, August means some of the hottest days of the year. It also means the looming return to school, which can arguably be good or bad, depending on who you are. For Warframe players, however, it means something different that offers them a way to avoid the heat for a while.
That’s right, the Dog Days event is returning to the F2P third-person shooter on August 6. And it’s even coming with improvements to both the event shop and event activities. As far as the shop goes, quite a few returning items purchased with Nakak Pearls will be on discount. The devs have also implemented a filter system allowing players to sort shop items by name, latest addition, and price.
On the activities front, the Soaktron has received quite a bit of love. The clip size has been increased, as has the rate of fire and projectile range. Reloading has been improved as well, and a standard ammo pool has been implemented. That means no more running to refill stations. In addition, Lob Blobs do more damage in a bigger area. Finally, players can expect Float of Fury Alerts to take place every weekend throughout August. Every time players complete an alert for the first time each weekend, they’ll receive 175 Nakak Pearls.
Of course, there are more goodies in Nakak’s Store, so players will want those extra Pearls.
