DOTA 2 Celebrates The Lunar New Year As They Continue Work On The Crownfall Update
There are lots of gifts for the Lunar New Year.
DOTA 2 is rolling out a new holiday event with the implementation of the in-game Lunar New Year event. Players can give and receive Dragon's Gifts which contains one of seventeen new Lunar New Year-themed cosmetics.
Also, brand new to the MOBA is a chance at The Ancient Dragon King, the first ever cosmetic for your Ancient. If anyone of on your team has the cosmetic, it will show up for everyone.
DOTA 2 devs have also recently rolled out a new wave of cheat detections, with ban waves already going out. You should be seeing fewer cheaters in your games...for now.
All of this helps kill time until the next major update which they are calling "Crownfall". More details on this major update will be coming in the future, so stay tuned.
