Fireworks, Food, And Costumes Await During Overwatch 2’s Year Of The Rabbit Event
The Year of the Rabbit kicks off in game today.
Get ready, another Lunar New Year event is kicking off today – this time in Overwatch 2. The new event brings back some festive maps and modes. These include Capture the Flag, Capture the Flag Blitz, and Bounty Hunter. It also brings back the Arcade Brawls – something fans should be excited about.
During the event, players will be able to earn special rewards both for logging in and for playing the brawls. Logging in will net players the 2023 year of the Rabbit Player Icon, while the brawls will earn them cosmetics, Battle Pass XP, and more. Completing four event challenges will earn players the Kkachi Echo Legendary skin.
For those that enjoy watching Overwatch on Twitch, players can also pick up a victory pose and Legendary skin for Moira – provided they watch for two hours with their linked Battle.net account.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
