Former Destiny 2 And League Of Legends Developer Jared Neuss Joins Blizzard As Overwatch 2's New Executive Producer
Neuss replaces Chacko Sonny who left last year.
It’s been a while since former Overwatch 2 Executive Producer Chacko Sonny stepped down from his post at Blizzard, leaving a spot at the developer open. Now, that post has been filled, by someone likely very familiar to players of both Destiny 2 and League of Legends. Jared Neuss announced yesterday, via LinkedIn, that he’s taken on the role. His full title will be Executive Producer and Vice President for Overwatch 2.
In his new role, Neuss will be reporting to the general manager for all of Overwatch, Walter Kong. Aaron Keller will be keeping his post as game director.
As mentioned above, Nuess will be familiar to fans of Destiny 2 and League of Legends. In fact, he’ll be familiar to almost anyone who has played Riot’s games – as well as 343 Industries, also having titles like Teamfight Tactics, and Halo 5: Guardians in his past. He’s done some more casual work as well, like Peggle 2 for PopCap.
