Gamigo Is Hosting A Server Load Test In Rift To Prepare For Those Server Merges
Take part and receive 7 free days of Patron on the live servers.
As Gamigo prepares for the Rift server merge they announced on March 11, they’re asking players to take part in a server load test. This test, which has already kicked off, is intended to help fine-tune the MMORPG’s servers before the transition.
The test will last for a week, ending on March 29. To participate, players will need to select the SLT region in the settings dropdown when logging in via the Glyph Client. If you don’t already have a Rift account but would like to take part in the test, you can do so. You’ll just need to follow the instructions on the announcement on the Rift site.
If you’re looking at the dates for this and thinking it seems a little odd since everyone is expected to choose a server to transfer by March 25, you’re not alone. That said, the goal of the test is to fine-tune the servers. So, perhaps they want data from before and after the merge to make sure everything is working correctly.
