Gloria Victis Touts New Combat Update
Medieval MMORPG Gloria Victis now has even more ways to hack, slash, and slay the day away, with a recent soft launch of a new combat update.
The press release touts the combat update as "rewarding players for their own skills" and being designed by Jakub Kisiel, who worked on The Witcher 3 and Gears of War. It includes directional blocking, charge mechanics, combat in water, and the ability to place a shield on your back. You can read about all these changes and much more on the Gloria Victis site.
But wait, there's more to come! Upcoming updates will include Azebs, a new playable nation, while the quests system is also described as being "close" and "soon." For now, you can take advantage of the Steam Summer Sale to pick up the early access version of Gloria Victis at 40% off, down to $11.99 from its regular $19.99 price.
