Guild Wars 2's Fuzzy Bee Skimmer Skin Is Surprisingly Cute

Okay, normally, we don’t post about the items added to game stores, but this one just kind of caught my attention – despite me not being a devoted Guild Wars 2 player. Today, ArenaNet revealed the Fuzzy Bee Skimmer Skin, which can turn your skimmer into a Giant Janthiri bee. According to the announcement these bees are “known for their rare honey and adorable softness”. I doubt anyone will be tasting the honey but they do look comfy enough to sleep on.

The bee is part of a bigger sale kicking off in the free-to-play MMORPG this weekend. On October 17, the seasonal goods will be rotating and, at the same time, back slot items will be 20% off. That sale will last until October 21. Items included in the sale will be the Fire Quiver Backpack and several capes as well as material storage expanders, Black Lion Expedition Contracts. As for the bee, it’ll run players 1,600 gems.
