Hi-Rez Announces 95% Transition To Remote Workforce
Yet another online gaming company has made the adjustments needed to shift their studios to a remote work environment in order to allow their employees to continue working on games while also remaining at home and (hopefully) avoiding catching or spreading the Coronavirus. Last night, Hi-Rez CEO Stewart Chisam announced via Twitter that more than 95% of employees working on Smite, Paladins, Realm Royale, and Rogue Company will be able to do so from home.
In the announcement, Chisam noted that the transition did face some challenges, but that they hope to assure that it has as little impact on the player experience as possible.
