Hoplon Announces Future Plans For Heavy Metal Machines, Including Esports

Heavy Metal Machines has a big year ahead if today's announcements are anything to go by. Earlier today, Hoplon sent out a press release detailing some of their 2019 plans for the car-combat MOBA -- including a launch in China and the establishment of not one... not two... but THREE esports championships.
The company has planned individual tournaments for the North American, South American, and European servers. Details on how the championships will work and what the prize pools will be haven't been detailed, but it was noted that in 2017 the company hosted championships in South America and Europe with a €10,000 prize pool.
In 2020, the tournaments might even be expanded to China since the company has plans to launch the game there this coming year. This will be the game's first launch in the East, so it will be interesting to see how it does there.
