Things are looking up in Lord of the Rings Online. Today, Standing Stone Games announced that players of the MMORPG will finally have access to Sting, the 64-bit game world that’s been suffering delays. The server opens in just a few hours, 7 pm Eastern to be exact, at which time free transfers will begin. Details on accessing Sting and the upcoming opening of the “Dark Worlds” are available on the LotRO site.
In other LotRO news, the dev team also announced that they have fixed an issue with Kinship Escrow that appeared during character transfers. While it should have been transferred with the guild leaders, it apparently wasn’t. That issue has been taken care of. Just note that anyone who lost items from Kinship Escrow due to this issue to talk to Customer Service.
