Mortal Online Suffered Data Breach In June, Suggests Changing Passwords
If you play Mortal Online -- I'm sure there are some of you out there -- you might want to change your password. Last month, there was a data breach in Star Vault's free-to-play MMORPG that resulted in someone gaining "database access to one of our servers containing the shop and forum databases."
Star Vault's statement on the matter insists that no credit card data was stolen, since that's not kept on the servers. However, you should change your password and, "If you used a password on the forums or in the shop that you use on other sites, then change them immediately!" In other words, your password is also mortal and you should kill it.
