Aion 8-2 Update

Get ready Aion players because you're due for another batch of new content. In fact, the 8.2 update is scheduled for early May. (No, no specific date has been provided as of yet.) This new update introduces a few new bits of content and also kicks off season 2 of Empyrean Lord’s Sacred Relic, along with Kerub's Quick Guide Season 2.

As far as non-seasonal content goes, players can look forward to a new wardrobe system, a normal version of Heart of Apsaranta, and new Apsaranta Legions. The wardrobe system is something players have been asking for and will give players access to fashion on the go. Think of it like Final Fantasy XIV's glamour system. Of course, that means Aion fans can enjoy the true MMO endgame. And yes, the Luna Wardrobe items will carry over.

On the Apsarant front, players can look forward to a new challenge with the addition of the Heart of Apsaranta (Normal) to the list of Aion's dungeons. This new version will be available to a group of 2-6 players level 81 or higher twice a week. And there will be better rewards. In addition, new Apsaranta Legions will be available with Nezekan and Zikel leading the way.

Finally, the 8.2 update kicks off Season 2 of both the Empyrean Lord's Sacred Relic and Kerub’s Quick Guide. The former is formed around the new Apsaranta Legions and will reward players for their activities in the game’s world – across 300 levels. The latter will simply reward players level 76 and up for taking on some quick missions intended to teach. It's a bit of a win, win.
