Once Human Announces Official Launch Of RaidZone
The PvP mode is ready to go live following Early Access and plenty of player feedback.
Since the PvP mode RaidZone entered Early Access in Once Human on May 21, players have offered plenty of feedback, and the devs have been making adjustments. Now, the team believes the mode is ready to become an official feature in the F2P multiplayer survival game. In fact, it’s so ready, it’s launching globally tomorrow, July 29.
The hardcore PvP mode offers free-for-all combat, allowing players to enter combat against each other at any point without restrictions. In order to survive, players will need to be fast and establish their territory, defending both themselves and their resources. To aid in this, players can unlock new crafting and building abilities as they go along, provided they survive long enough. Players really do need to make their defenses as strong as possible, as their items can be claimed by another if they are defeated or their territory is breached.
To ensure fairness, the RaidZone servers will be reset periodically so that players can start out equally. Starting out, these resets will take place every two weeks, and players will need to sign up to join the servers. Each server will be named in such a way that it will be easy for players to decide which one they wish to join.
As you might expect, the new mode has several details players will want to read about before hopping in. These include the rule differences between servers, rules for multi-mode accounts and character data, and information on anti-cheat measures. All of these can be found in the post on the Once Human Steam page.
