Rift Celebrates Steam's 20th Anniversary With Free Stuff...Still No Update In Sight
Players get 7 free days of Patron status.
Yesterday, Steam turned 20. At this point, it's one of those things that just seems like it's always been there, so we imagine most people probably weren’t keeping track of when the anniversary was coming up. Apparently, the Rift team was though, so they’ve decided to celebrate.
In honor of the anniversary, the MMORPG is offering players a free week of Patron status. To receive the gift, players just need to log in to the game sometime between now and September 26. Patron status offers several perks, including access to an Arclight Rider mount.
In addition, all players will be able to take advantage of an XP boost. Also, a variety of items will be discounted on the Rift game store.
