Today, Trion released the latest chapter in RIFT's Starfall Prophecy saga, "Forged in Flame". This new update adds a new 10-person raid titled Tartaric Depths, a new LFR system, more weapons, and additional content. The update is free to players who have purchased Starfall Prophecy. For those players who do not own that expansion yet, Trion is now allowing both the Standard and Deluxe editions to be purchased with in-game credits.

Of note in this update is the addition of the Intrepid Rise of the Phoenix and the Intrepid Gyel Fortress to level 70 content. In addition, a level 70 quest line similar to Saga Quests has been added that grants new, unique weapons. And, a new Life Fortress Siege has been added, "Cracking Xarth's Skull" -- in which players will need to defeat the fortress' inner defenses and take on Hexathal.

More details on the new update are available on the RIFT blog.
