Riot Games And Amazon Will Celebrate Valorant Fans With End-Of-Year RE//LOAD Event On December 16
Players can watch a four-team tourney of content creators live from Atlanta, Georgia on Twitch.
On December 16 from 10:00-3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Amazon and Riot Games will team up to host an exclusive, end-of-the-year event called "RE//LOAD" to celebrate Valorant fans. Specifically, Crown Channel, a livestreaming channel launched from Twitch's Prime program, will stream on Twitch the in-person and virtual event from Atlanta, Georgia, with familiar hosts and feature a content creator four-team tourney.
The hosts, Myth and Jacki Jing, will provide commentary over the Pro AM tournament with four teams of fan-favorite Valorant creators. At the head of each team will be superstar captains: bnans, Starsmitten, xChocoBars, and C9 Mel. Additionally, the event will feature a DJ set from Dabin, a surprise guest appearance, and a musical performance from Mike Dimes.
“Following the success of wwFest, Amazon is thrilled to continue our long standing partnership with Riot Games and to bring another incredible live event, hosted by Crown Channel, to the VALORANT community,” announced Crown Channel General Manager Sallie Hirsch. “With RE//LOAD, our goal is to deliver a world-class celebration of yet another fantastic year for one of gaming’s most passionate communities. We’re excited for everyone to see what we have in store!”
RE//LOAD viewers could also have a chance to win some giveaways during the stream while enjoying the festive music and competition come December 16. You can view their announcement post on Medium for specific details.
