The Second Installment Of Gwent's Price Of Power Expansion Brings The Clash On Thanedd Island
Today, CD Projekt Red dropped the second part of the Price of Power expansion set, titled Thanedd Coup. It takes Gwent players to Thanedd Island, where a conclave has gone awry, resulting in a bloody battle between the mages of the North and the mages of Nilfgaard. The update adds 26 new cards to the game, as well as new tactics.
In addition to the new expansion content, the update also kicks off the sixth season of the game's progression system, Journey. This new season will run for three months and features 100 levels of rewards. As with previous iterations, there is both a free tier and a paid tier for players who want more out of their experience.
Season 6 features a narrative focused on the magical academy of Aretuza, located on Thanedd Island. This means players will be able to learn more about the island and the school via the seasonal content -- particularly via diary entries made by a student known as Alissa.
