The Oceanid Season is here.

In Skyforge, players can expect to confront "Nightmares in Distortions" as a part of the MMORPG’s seasonal content. The Distortions will receive a new "Nightmare" difficulty level with this update. To access Nightmares, players must first complete the corresponding Distortion on the normal difficulty level. Once this is achieved, the first level of Nightmare becomes available.

With each rank, bosses become more formidable with boosted health and strength, adventure completion time decreases, and new Maledictions come into play. These Maledictions can affect both bosses and players, altering skills, preventing Class changes, reducing damage types, or even prohibiting the use of healing items and Healing Orbs. Unlike regular Nightmares, Distortions will maintain the same set of Maledictions throughout the season, giving players time to grasp their mechanics and conquer these Adventures.

Incentives for conquering Nightmares include earning Achievements that reward a special currency known as the Strategist's Seal, which facilitates the automatic completion of Directives and their rewards. Players will receive Seals for their Achievements weekly throughout the season. The number of Seals obtainable depends on the number of Distortions completed at various difficulty levels, with a maximum of eight Seals achievable per week for those who conquer all Distortions on all Nightmare levels.
