Sock It To Behemoths With Dauntless's New Fist Weapon, Aether Strikers
Why equip a giant weapon to take down a rampaging Behemoth when you could just punch it to death? That's what Dauntless players are probably asking themselves with yesterday's reveal of the aether strikers, the new fist weapon coming to Phoenix Labs' free-to-play monster-hunting title.
The game's seventh weapon transforms "the very Slayer who wields them into a weapon of flesh and deadly focus." They have a "spiritual component," and to master them, you'll need to practice combos chains to charge up mantras that you can use to unleash powerful attacks that refresh your mantra timer. You can then use your mantras to execute techniques, which are super-powerful attacks and buffs that depend on the number of mantras you have stored up.
Aether strikers will be coming to Dauntless when the 1.0 version launches on Sept. 26. Learn more on the Dauntless site.
